Prof. Liu Dunyi Selected as 2015 Thomson Reuters Highly Cited Researcher

Thomson Reuters recently named Prof. Liu Dunyi, Research Fellow from the Institute of Geology of the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences (CAGS) and Director of the Beijing SHRIMP Center, as 2015 Highly Cited Researcher in its report “The World’s Most Influential Scientific Minds 2015” released in March 2016. This was the 2nd time for Prof. Liu Dunyi to win the title.

 

 

In 2015, altogether 149 scientists from the field of earth sciences were elected as 2015 Highly Cited Researcher, among whom 9 were from mainland China. Prof. Liu Dunyi was the only CAGS scientist elected.

 

 

Highly Cited Researchers 2015 identifies the world’s most influential contemporary researchers across 21 scientific fields. Over three thousand researchers earned the distinction by writing the greatest numbers of reports officially designated by Essential Science Indicators (ESI) as Highly Cited Papers—ranking among the top 1% most cited for their subject field and year of publication, earning them the mark of exceptional impact.
