As the acceptance review of the National Important Mineral Resources Potential Evaluation Programended, the research team of the National Important Mineral Resources and Regional Mineralization Regularity Program undertaken by the Institute of Mineral Resources, CAGS published two monographs recently through Geological Publishing House: Research on TypicalMesozoic Molybdenum Deposits in East China and National Diagenesis-Mineralization Chronology. The research team of the National Crisis Mine Reserved Resources Program published Research on Pan-Beibu Gulf Guangxi-Hainan Typical Cu-Sn-Pb-Zn-Au Deposits.

Research on Typical Mesozoic Molybdenum Deposits in East China (Huang Fan et al.)analyzes deposits such asthe Yili Mo deposit in the DaHinggan mineralization province,Shapinggou Mo deposit in the Qinling-Dabie mineralization province, Yuanlingzhai Mo deposit in the South China mineralization province, and summarizes mineralization regularities, providing theoretical reference for geological exploration and potential evaluation.National Diagenesis-Mineralization Chronology (Wang Denghong et al.) preliminarily discusses diagenesis-mineralization chronology based on 11886 pieces of diagenesis-mineralization age data (serving as a reference book)and illustrates its 5 roles in potential evaluation: measuring age of typical deposits and establishing mineralization models; revealing geotectonic setting and tracing mineralization history; clarifying stages of mineralization evolution and building metallogenic lineage; summarizing regional mineralization regularities and determining prospecting directions; finding regional mineralization factors and guiding prospecting forecast.

Pan-Beibu Gulf Guangxi-Hainan Typical Cu-Sn-Pb-Zn-Au Deposits covers the research achievements of the Gaolong Au deposit, Debao Cu deposit, Cu-Sn polymetallic deposit,Longtoushan Au deposit,Fuzichong Pb-Zn deposit, and Shilu Fe deposit, touching upon mining area geology, orebody geology, mineralization zoning, ore petrology, mineralogy, wall rock alteration, mineralization stage, mineralization age, mineralization fluid, isotope geochemistry, ore field structure, mineralization specificity, regional structure and evolution, mineralization mechanism and pattern, mineralization regularity, and mineralization forecast, etc.

In addition, Mineral Deposits, Geochemistry, and Mineralization Regularity of Dazhuyuan Bauxite Deposit in Guizhou (Li Peigang, Wang Denghong et al.)jointly written by the Institute of Mineral Resources and the Guizhou No. 106 Geological Team was published by Science Press. This book presents the latest achievements of the package exploration in the Wuzhengdao area, Guizhou Province, i.e., achievements of the research on potential evaluation of typical deposits, and shows necessity to integrate scientific research with production.
